As a lawyer I have an extensive expertise in financial law and business law. I provide advisory, regulatory and litigation support to my clients and have built a career for over more than two decades through my work with leading organizations such as Aegon Bank, Deutsche Bank, Triodos Bank, Knap Bank, Albert Heijn, and Heineken. With an academic background from the prestigious University of Leiden and many years of experience as both a lawyer, bankruptcy trustee, and interim corporate counsel, I bring a unique combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience to my clients. I am highly versatile and capable of handling all the issues that modern businesses encounter.

Throughout my career, I have managed a broad range of diverse projects and assignments across various areas, frequently taking on leadership roles in guiding teams through complex legal challenges. My ability to lead has been instrumental in achieving successful outcomes for numerous high-profile cases and business initiatives. In 2023, I was recognized for my outstanding achievements and won the Dutch Independent Legal Award. This award is presented annually by an independent jury to a self-employed lawyer or legal professional who has distinguished themselves through an innovative approach, added value for the client, or by excelling in the legal profession in another way. I was admitted to the Amsterdam Bar in 1997 where I completed the Bar Program and became a partner of law firm Wenckebach in 2024. I am fluent in Dutch, English, and German, which allows me to effectively communicate with a wide range of clients and handle international cases.
