With nearly two decades of dedicated experience, I have immersed myself in the domain of legal and regulatory affairs, primarily within the financial sector. Over the years, I have worked on an array of diverse projects and assignments, covered various topics and assisted both legal, compliance, risk and business departments. Whether unravel the dynamics between requirements and practice or developing strategic and practical solutions, I have cultivated a talent for navigating multifaceted challenges.

I embarked on my professional journey as a lawyer at Dentons, a leading full-service law firm, where I successfully completed the Bar Program. Because of my ambition to work within organizations I made the leap to interim legal consultancy and started my first assignment for the Dutch Ministry of Finance, where I found myself at the forefront of various rescue operations aimed at mitigating the repercussions of the financial credit crisis of 2008. This experience further sparked my interest for providing legal consultancy services and helping organizations with complex legal and regulatory issues. Subsequently, I worked for diverse array of organizations, amongst other for ING, Triodos, Rabobank, FMO, PGGM, the Dutch Banking Association, ASR and De Lage Landen. Furthermore, I have fortified my knowledge base by completing post-doctoral Grotius programs in Securities Law and ICT Law.
